With "Dite Sbadiglio di Evaporite," Francesco Cavaliere aims to give a voice to alabaster, a precious evaporite of gaseous origin. It seems to be tired and yawning. Evaporites serve as geological thermometers of the Earth, mineral sediments that encapsulate the planet's history. Through the assembly of two small animal sculptures in alabaster, Francesco Cavaliere attempts to awaken their voice, that incomprehensible murmur after a long slumber. The exhibition is accompanied by the artist's book "La Lince d'ombra," published by Viaindustriae publishing.
